Tonight at 6:30 eastern I'll be on the radio with my favorite host, Andy Caldwell. Andy and I are going to dive into the subject of how we here in America are getting along with our Muslim-Americatizens.

Sad news. One of the Italian-American "minstrel show" performers, one of your I-A "Stepinfetchits", Denise Borino Quinn, of Roseland, who played Ginny Sack onThe Sopranos , that show you watched repeatedly to definitively certify its negative impact on Italians, died of cancer at age 46. She worked in a nail salon. Without acting experience, she, as you know, turned out true and moving portraits of humanity.

juststupidright,
Simply read the actual diario penned by Christopher Columbus to see his true intentions. Even if Columbus didn't personally sever the hands of Indians who couldn't make their gold quota for the day he bears responsibility by virtue of the fact that he was the captain and governor. There is primary source evidence available to you if you actually did your homework that implicates Columbus as the source of the transcontinental West Indian and African slave trade. Las Casas had no sinister motives against Columbus when he penned his defense of the Indians. His tireless work, after becoming a priest, to end the slaughter torture and rape of the natives of Hispaniola which is well documented was, alas too late. Disease had already ravaged the islands and depopulated them beyond recognition. I have yet to see a "revionist historian" stake the claim that European Americans intentionally brought disease to the Americas. Careful about your accusations. I am not suggesting we blame Columbus for all the ills and injustices of history but how can an intelligent citizen with clear conscience declare him a hero or saint of the church. Look to F. McGivney in the late 1800s and Italian-American lobbyists in the early years of the twentieth century to find the true source of the distortion of Columbus and his current status.
