Hey Vlad and Hu, it's me George!  What do you say to a sleep-over?  We can throw on some jammies, make smores, and tell scary stories about nuclear destruction of the planet!

Well, I bet that's not exactly how the invite went. They didn't make smores.  However after donning these outfits, the leaders of the US, Russia and China did have a talk about how to respond to the nuclear ambitions of 2 of the 3 "axis of evil" countries, North Korea and Iran. Actually only George calls them that - Vladdy and Hu haven't done so yet.

Maybe those two aren't clear on what is at stake if they don't help the United States stifle the ambitions to have nukes of men like Ahmadinejad and Kim Jung Il.

Just in case anyone has forgotten, here's what's at stake:

Democrats will "Stay the Course" in Iraq!

"Not Bush" was elected Tuesday night all over America.  We saw endless commercials for months from Democrats saying "I'm Not Bush."  Then Not Bush would go on to tell us how the President was wrong with his "stay the course" strategy in Iraq.  Not Bush won by telling us we need a change.

Now, straight from the "Yea like we didn't see this coming department"  the Iraqi President said today that the Democrats assured him we would not withdraw our troops form Iraq - even keep bases there.  Not Bush even said withdrawing troops would be a "catastrophe."  I must have missed one of Not Bush's ads, because I don't recall that from before the election.

Kenye West Doesn't Care About European Singers...and another sore loser

Kenye West is a horse's rear-end. But you already new that.

Seems that Kenye was so upset at not winning the MTV Europe Best Video Award, he ran on stage while the winners (Justice and Simian) were up there collecting their award. Here is a link and video of Kenye on stage dropping F-Bombs because he didn't get chosen.

Kanye said later that his tirade was alcohol induced (I guess it's OK then). Easy there Mark Foley.

Not to be outdone, Faith Hill was seen at the Country Music Awards throwing her own little temper tantrum when she didn't win. Here is the video goodness.

Afterward, Hill said it was meant as a joke. A botched joke? Easy there John Kerry.

Fox Reports So We Can Decide

I was watching the coverage of the Saddam Hussein verdict and sentence of hanging very early this morning, and as usual I was surfing from Fox to CNN to MSNBC.

Fox was showing pictures of Iraqi's dancing in the street, obviously happy about the decision. They were showing the news as it was happening, unfiltered.

CNN had on a talking head pontificating about whether the verdict was legal. Not news, and a clear attempt to turn good news bad.

MSNBC wasn't showing the people dancing in the street either, but had on a reporter who indicated that while they had no indication that anyone was yet protesting, MSNBC was certain that later someone would. No, I'm not kidding. They weren't showing news, they were reporting what they were hoping would be news later.

Fox reports, I decide.

Thank God.

John Kerry Lying on Imus

I'm watching Kerry on Imus right now. He just said his mistake was that he meant to say "We" get stuck in Iraq and not "You" get stuck in Iraq.

I'm calling shenanigans.

That's a different excuse since yesterday. Yesterday his version was he meant the President was stuck in Iraq. This morning it's all of us. What change will tomorrow bring?

He was talking to students. He repeatedly said to them if you study and you work hard you can do well, and if you don't you get stuck in Iraq.

Clearly he was telling the students that success was college and failure was soldiering.

Chris Matthews was defending Kerry last night. Will someone please ask Chris how many times he will have to do this?

When Kerry said our soldiers committed rape, murder and other atrocities, he wasn't criticizing them.
When Kerry said last December our soldiers were terrorists, he wasn't criticizing them.
When Kerry said this week our soldiers are slackers and drop outs, he wasn't criticizing them.
